Wheels for sale

I have a set of stock honey comb (1993) rims with rubber. (Dunlop sport A2) about 25,000km on them, still have plenty of tread. Rims have no damage, just dirty with brake dust.
$250.00 obo

Re: Cost of diagnostics

Did you reset the ECU after fixing the O2 sensors?. Remove negative battery terminal for 10 mins. or so. Then check codes again.
It doesn't take much of a crack to have a small air leak in the intake hose for it to cause idle problems. Replace it with a CAI.
You might need an EGR valve.

That was the whole thing.

just a thought, I had clunking noise too, but it turned out to be broken stabilizer links which are sometimes hard to see if they are broken.

Re: MOTO-VAC (Where can i get this done?)

Most quick lube places have a machine. I had it done and it helped alot with better starts and fuel milleage.

Re: Gonna Buy a used engine

Spark plugs tell alot about how the engine runs.
Look at their color/condition.

Re: a lot of miles on engine

You can't compare a VW deisel motor to a gasoline motor with regards to longevity.
