Re: Corksport muffler

Why not just save up for either a B6T or BPT swap? what are you goals for the engine ?

Re: Best Muffler ?

Yeah I know that you could hear the engine a lot more with the stock exhaust, but you also are losing a lot of power by having that on when you are running a turbo, I need a high flow exhaust that doesn't sound like a high pitch civic going down the road haha

Re: What can I expect?

I have the RX-7 Fuel pump, I think that should work with them, do you guys have any tips on what I could get more power out of it with? other than what I have listed?

Re: What can I expect?

I was thinking about having my boost up around 15psi also, but I wasn't sure if that would be a safe number, I'm keeping it low for the first 1000 miles or so just to work the engine in and then I will be turning up the boost, on a fully rebuilt engine I don't think that there will be any worries ab...

What can I expect?

I'm in the process of getting my B6T put in my car and I was wondering what I can expect for power from it? here is my set up, B6T engine, 370cc injectors, 2.5 exhaust, manual boost controller running 11psi, intake, ported and polished head. just curios to what my over all power will be at the crank?

Re: turbo

the amount of boost depends on the condition of your engine and how many miles on it..if you were going to put a trubo on your stock engine then I wouldn't think anything over 7-8 would be a good idea

Re: turbo

it would almost be cheaper for you to swap in the B6T rather then getting turbo for you car, a turbo set up will run you about 2000 bucks. and that would be in comparison to the b6t block.. if you don't have the money now for the swap then it would be worth saving up to get it done

Re: ENGINE SWAP

I think that you would be better off getting either the B6T or the BPT engine, it would be much easier to put one of those in your car rather then getting into the whole V6 thing. and you could get more power out of one of those engine also.. I would look into one of those

Re: INJECTORS

I don't see any real reason to run new injectors if you aren't running any kinda of turbo set up???
