Is everything tight? Make sure the srut mounts are tight. Are the spring seats put back in? On the strut mount, there is a bolt in the center that is connected to the strut rod. If it's not tight, it will make noise when you drive over bumps, etc. It will hit the hood of your car. Just a possibility...

You may be able to achieve 100 flywheel hp with this, but wheel hp will be anywhere from 15% to 30% less. Of course a header would'nt hurt either. If there is any money left over, you could go with a small NOS setup to get the 100 wheel hp you desire.
