You could strap a jet assisted takeoff ordinance on the top of the roof. That should give you a boost over 300mph.

Re: URGENT BRAKE QUES

Large adjustable pliers will work or you can buy piston depressors from Sears or an auto parts store for cheap.

Re: ENGINE SWAP

I've spent the last 2 years searching for ways to drop my BPT in, and its paid off. I have already spent $1100 on block work alone. Not including the purchase of the engine and all the components necessary to make it run right. This is not a cheap swap and you must have a budget in order to do this....

Re: Clunk sound in front suspension

There are 4 nuts that hold down the strut mount to the body of the car. The nut in the center holds the strut mount to the strut itself. make sure its tight! It should be centered inside.

Re: ENGINE SWAP

To make things easy, your best swap would be the BPT engine out of the 90-94 323GTX. The V6 is not recommended for you must swap out parts from the bumper to the firewall. The BPT will yield slightly more power than the 2.5 in stock form(BPT 180hp vs. 2.5 167hp). And when you start upgrading to your...

Louie, please refrain from posting complete garbage that is not even remotly coherent on this message board. This is a serious board and is better left to the big boys for disscussion. Seriously, you should learn as much as you can about cars before posting. Read the posts, and ask legitimate questi...

Re: Clunk sound in front suspension

Is everything tight? Make sure the srut mounts are tight. Are the spring seats put back in? On the strut mount, there is a bolt in the center that is connected to the strut rod. If it's not tight, it will make noise when you drive over bumps, etc. It will hit the hood of your car. Just a possibility...

Re: springs

Just think of the kind of camber correction you will need with 2 coils cut on the springs. Buy cutting 2 coils off MY factory springs there would be a drop over 4"....yeah, bad idea.
It would be a wiser choice in buying lowering springs.

Re: exhaust

You can make it sound better without pissing off your neibhors.
Headers would be a good start. Hurricane makes one for your engine.
There are catbacks from Brullen, and Mazdaspeed. These however may be on the expensive side. I would suggest having a mandrel bent 2" cat back with a straig...

Re: can i get get there...

You may be able to achieve 100 flywheel hp with this, but wheel hp will be anywhere from 15% to 30% less. Of course a header would'nt hurt either. If there is any money left over, you could go with a small NOS setup to get the 100 wheel hp you desire.
