Re: Anything new for MX-West?
It was MaxBoost - Importfest on Nov. 23/02 down at the Van. Convention & Exhibition Centre (Canda Place)/ They've e-mailed me asking me to enter my car, but I don't think so. Can't afford the $50 entry fee right now. I might go down...

Re: lower springs
Richmond  , worst place to go now a days. I only go to Ironwood Plaza once in a while when I need my skates sharpened. Is it still bad out there?
Check the Buy & Sell and have you checked with all the perfromance shops down in ditchman. If we hear of any group buys or sales on lowering s...

Re: lower springs
You'll have to shop around and get the best price you can. Are you sticking with just buying from a shop in Van or would you be willing to get the springs from a shop out in the burbs? While you're calling around for pricing, might as well check to see if Eibach
Which FS do you work at. That would...

Re: lower springs
Definitely don't get them installed at Toys 4 Wheels, oh yea I remember. Just a suggetion to see if they sold lowering springs for our cars. I haven't been keeping track on who sells what around town anymore. If you have time, patients and a set of spring compressors, install them yourself. Get a wh...

Re: lower springs
Majority of us in the club are running H&R's on our MX-3s. $350 is a little high for them. Eibach is suppose to be bringing back springs for the MX-3. I think Intrax springs were a 1.75" drop. How much do you want to lower your car? Try Overseas Auto, Driver's Edge, Boom Plus Toys?, Toys 4 ...

Re: Rear Mud Guards...
I don't know if anyone is making a trip down again soon. You can always have Cork Sport ship it by ground to the border and pick them up there or see if any of them are coming up to town to bring it to you.
You'll have to declare the mud guards if you don't install them on the car. You are allowe...

Re: need parts =)
Should try Mopac as well. I know they can get parts for the MX-3. Ractive stuff isn't too bad, I've got a rear strut tower bar and few other people have other parts from them. Most of the parts are made by someone else and they just slap their sticker on the product. Also check out our "For Sal...

Re: need parts =)
Congrats. :D There really isn't any good places around town to get parts for our cars, it sucks. You'll have to call around town to see if anyone can get what you want. Majority of the stereo shops around town carry Ractive products and there are a bunch of stuff that Ractive makes for our cars. You...

Re: Illegal to remove the front license plate?
It's illegal to drive around without the front plate. You'll have a 50/50 chance of getting a warning first and asked to put it back on or a ticket, depending how the cop is that day.

Re: What do you mx-3 owners think?
Hey Ray,
The one over in Vic is a little high for a 92, but look at the mileage on the car. It hasn't seen the dark side yet, the engine is pretty much in mint condition. Unless the owner ran the carp out of it or a rebuilt. Its also a local car, so you know there won't be much rust on it.
BTW t...

Re: What do you mx-3 owners think?
Even though its got 81K clicks on it, $9K is pretty steep for a car thats been in 3 accidents. Subtract the cost for the repairs and give them that offer.

Re: Want to buy a wing??
It came off a wrecked RS and the wreckers sold the OEM floating spoiler with the hatch garnish as one piece. The Mazda RS optional spoiler mounts right onto the hatch garnish. Here's a pic of the one I have MX-3.com.

Re: RCMP hit by alleged street racer.
A brain dead DAMF 20 year old kid took the life of an RCMP officer. The street racer ran a red light and broadsided the Police cruiser at an estimated speed of 140 -180 km/h pushing both cars into the Petro-Can gas station lot in the early morning last sunday. The second driver behind him stopped, p...

Everyone had a good time on the Whistler trip. We are working on next year's events schedule, so we'll let everyone know when to plan for time off for the next trip.
CIA looks really good. I thought of doing something like that at one time but never got around to it. Did you ever thought of using ...
