Re: Removing front bumper

That's what I had to do, pull the bumper's edge out slightly to reach the screws. I am not sure how they came up with this idea, holy crap genius moment right there. Also, the 4 little screws imbedded into the thick plastic bumper reinforce is really bullsh*t. The screws came out, only about an hour...

Re: Removing front bumper

Okay, those 4 small screws behind the bumper reinforce, when is that a good idea???

It's like the engineers collectively planned this,"Let's make these 4 screws impossible to get to!"

Removing front bumper

Hello, I know there's a FAQ on the front page regarding front bumper removal. However, part of the replies was later sent via emails. Do I have to remove the headlights to get the bumper off? I have removed the screws new the wheel wells. I have removed both 10mm bolts near the radiator. I have remo...

Re: How do I remove the rear wing?

I was going 70-75 miles an hour mostly. I am sure if I drove 65, I can get 36 mpg. But... I can't drive 65.

Re: How do I remove the rear wing?

Finally got the hatch trims off. Holy hell! I thought I broke the damn thing when it finally popped off. I found out that one of the right rear defroster isn't attached to the hatch. Another thing that needs fixing. Overall, I am loving the MX3. I drove from St Louis to Springfield IL, about 200 mil...

Yeah, I am trying to remove the #1 (lower trunk trim) from the hatch. Can't seem to pop it off.

How do I remove the rear wing?

Hello, Here is my 1995 MX3. I paid $1800 for it when it had 48000 miles. The owner wanted $2400, but I believed he puked in the trunk. The interior is in fantastic shape, the paint however needs work. I love the way the MX3 drives with 16" wheels, very sure footed. http://i67.photobucket.com/al...

Looking for a set of 15" rims

Hello,

I am looking for a set of 15" rims. Doesn't have to be OEM, just shoot me a pic and the price you want.

It will help if it is close to St Louis, MO.
Thanks a lot,
Ray

Re: What size are the speakers?

Alright, the Sony XS-R1644 fits perfectly, no drills and no fabrication need. Also, the windows doesn't hit the speakers either. The speakers are about $40 for the pair at Wal-Mart.

Re: What size are the speakers?

I took a poster advice and bought a Pioneer for my MX3, didn't work.
(Pioneer made for Mazda, and so on)

I bought a 6.5 set and it didn't fit. Only 1 hole will line up and I don't really want to drill the Mazda.

I am looking for a perfect fit. I know, I know, people here will say I want too much.

I believe so, because the CD player is stock. I will know shortly, I am replacing the CD player and I might change the speakers as well.

Re: MX-3 hits and misses

I'm also not a fan of the USDM '94+ dash, but thankfully I'm not in the US, so nothing here has that dash! Another thing we aren't blighted with here in Australia is the slow 4cyl version you guys got, and the terribly low levels of equipment which came with it (such as no rear wiper, I'm assuming!...

Re: MX-3 hits and misses

the oem sound system is fantastic? really? ive never herd the oem speakers but i assumed they would be horrible like the average car of that era... Exactly my point, I thought it was going to suck because I have an opinion about speakers from that era as well. However, when I played a CD, it turned...
