hey man i had a similar problem mine finnally overheated then 2 days later i had a golfball size hole in my water pump. they said it might have been caused by the radiator cap not keepin the pressure in but i'd figure it out before u have to get the pump fixed

my speedometer when ever it gets cold(works fine when warm) will read up to about 25mph before it makes a very loud humming vibrating noise then it shoots up to about 80 and and just goes up. i may have an idea what could be wrong i think it may be the spring in the cable may be affected by the cold...
