I think you would have a few more problems than m/g if your timing belt slipped haha try complete engine failure. and it would never slip it has big freakin teeth on it your mechanic either adjusted your timing or replaced the PCV valve and charged you a fortune

Cool well I still think that theoretically it is possible because your not cutting the spring but compressing it but hey I will look around on ebay I found a mechanic that will install them pretty cheap and align after so : P we shall see... but i also found a good paint shop that will paint for cas...
