Re: Smooth Lowering Springs??
define "smooth"
"smooth" as i would define it is controlled by the dampers, not the springs.
Intraxx still has increased rates from stock, so i have no idea how you're going to back that up.

Re: Smooth Lowering Springs??
What spring rate would you consider "not bumpy"?
(you're asking a subjective question)
Keep in mind that ALL lowering springs HAVE TO INCREASE the spring rate, so that your car doesn't ride on the bumpstops.

Re: Widest Tire on 15" rims
You can easily fit a 225 on a 6" wheel. The issue is fender clearance. With that said, about the best PERFORMANCE tires you could buy for a MX-3 would be Kumho MX's or Falken Azenis. Both come in a 205/50/15 and the MX comes in a wider size, I believe a 225. Neither are good on treadwear or qui...

look for parts that look "clean", as in they are rubbing under load. inner fender walls would be my first target.

Re: Questions about brakes ?
Porsche/Audi brakes wouldn't work without a lot of money and time invested. First, they are 5 bolt, and the offset of the discs are nowhere near that of the MX-3.
