Questions about brakes ?

Post by BBK »

Hello
first sorry for my bad English. I come from Germany and drive a mazda mx 3 v6 with 133 HP. somehow i am not realy content to the brakes of the mx-3 so i have wondered me if it is possible to change the saddle and discs for example from a Audi S2 or Porsche. Would it be possible? and does this simply to exchange the things ?
thanks to your answers
bye BBK

They do sell a big brake kit that costs around 1,300USD. You would have to ask Jon because he has them. Do a search for big brake kits up top. Other then that, I am not aware of anything that will really change the stopping power very drastically.

Precision Brakes Co. are the people who made the kit for Jon and now sell it.
If you don't want that, then go for some better pads (ie..metalics), rotors (ie..Powerslot), and stainless steel lines. This combo works better than most people give it credit.
~A

Porsche/Audi brakes wouldn't work without a lot of money and time invested. First, they are 5 bolt, and the offset of the discs are nowhere near that of the MX-3.
