Cusco camber plates

Post by Coolesnce »

I just installed some cusco camber plates. I seems when i accelerate or make a right handed turn the right side makes a loud clcking noise. When i make a fast right hand turn the clicking is so loud that it shakes the car and makes things in my mirror go blurry from the vibration. I also have a corkprt front strut bar and tokico shocks. I checked all the bolts to make sure that they are tightly torqued, but can't figure out wants causing the noise. Any one have any ideas?

Yeah make sure your drive shafts are still in good condition. If all the grease is gone and there is a lot of dirt in there, it will brake apart. Take a look under there, you will know if its broken or not.

look for parts that look "clean", as in they are rubbing under load. inner fender walls would be my first target.

where did you get the cusco camber plates from?
I didnt think they made them for the MX-3?

P/s sounds like your axles are shot, or maybe the springs are rubbing on the body of the car

I know mt axels are not shot, I checked them out. I reseated my camber plates and it seems like the sound has lessened a lt. It only makes the noise when I adjust the camber too full neg and only makes the sound on the right side.

I ordered my plates through corksport. You can also try stillen.

If it only makes it turning right, then there could be a suspension piece bent.

It might be hard to spot though.

Either that, or something has to be loose.
