Double DIN to Single DIN
i bought my car used ('95 RS) and the previous owner had a crappy double DIN deck in there. i took that out and now i got a single DIN deck. the only problem is that i can't keep the deck on the top DIN. in other words, i think the previous owner cut and removed stuff in the stereo bay and now the ...

Re: Power Windows
Yeah, why are the little notches for the heated seats by the e-brake in my 95 MX-3 RS? Didn't they only make the heated seats for the 93 SE? Anyways, I'm interested in the OEM power windows conversion too. Is it possible? easy? Just get parts/wiring from a wrecked MX-3? Which parts? I'm assuming ...

Re: mx-3 vs tiburon
Alot of people get Tiburons to be different. People are set on getting a new model car and have limited cash. It usually ends up between the Tibby and the Civic. Also Tiburons are cheap; like 17,000 for leather, aluminum trim, A/C, power everything, the works. Of course, that comes from Hyundai's ...

Miata engine parts?
Is it true that some Miata's come with the 1.6L DOHC that is found in the newer MX-3's? Can any Miata performance parts fit in the MX-3 1.6L DOHC at all? Just a thought.<P>Also, just out of curiosity, are there any good, fairly easy engine swaps for the 4-cyl out of US cars made 1995 and newer that ...

Re: is there any turbos available for the 4cyl, 1.6L
Will any of these turbos talked about (Eclipse, Capri, GTX) fit on the DOHC or will they only fit the SOHC?

Re: Removing amber lens from signal lights
It's the one's directly below the headlights, not the ones that are completely on the sides. Thanks for all the advice. I'll be sure to heat that thing up really good!

Removing amber lens from signal lights
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get those stupid amber lens covers off of my signal lights so I can put in the clear ones. The only sticky stuff that I can see is around those notches where the lens pops into those holes in the housing. I've tried heating it up with a blow dryer, but those ...

Re: Performance Parts for the 1.6L DOHC I-4
Nice car. Did it pass smog test with the custom intake and exhaust? Cuz I have a custom fit intake w/ K&N filter in my car right now. Took it to get smogged at this place in San Francisco and they wouldn't do it, cuz it would fail the visual test (under hood modifications without CARB sticker ...

Re: Performance Parts for the 1.6L DOHC I-4
Soooo... I guess the only way to get decent CARB legal performance is to swap a B6T in, but isn't that against the law for street legal cars in California? I thought that engine swaps had to be from the same model year or newer... So there's no hope for a decently quick DOHC 4-cyl California street ...

Cutting up an RS bumper...
Hey everyone! I know lots of you guys have cut up the stock bumper and put wire mesh from home depot on it. I really want to do this, but see, some idiot did a hit and run on my car a while back, and I just got it back from the shop. I really don't wanna cut up the bumper if I don't have to. Anybody ...

Performance Parts for the 1.6L DOHC I-4
Hi everyone! I have a 1995 1.6L DOHC 4-Cyl MX-3 RS and really wanna get some horsepower from it! Before everyone jumps the gun, there's one catch! It's a California daily driver. That means all parts have to have that god forsaken CARB approval sticker. (Although I am still interested in any cheap ...
