Yeah, bearings are cheap, but how bad is the crank??? Is that a gouge (sorry for spelling) carved into the crank journal???? Kind of hard to tell in the picture.

I would have asked for his name and badge number....then went to the local station and filed a complaint of harrassment with the desk seargent. Most of the time, if a cop is harrassing you, or is just completely full of sh*t, asking for their badge #, etc will get them to simmer down...worked for me...

It's not too bad...aside from the fact that it's no longer a MX3, but hell, at least they did bore and turbo the 1.5.....too bad they didn't post any numbers though...probably because they're not too impressive. ![Shrug :shrug:](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Got a chance to do a little work to the bumper today. Fabbed up some supports out of a sheet of steel sheet metal. That's the plan...the old strut brace is just a temp fix for the old cracked bumper support...

Oddly enough, I just finished installing a set on my mx3...as far as installation goes, they're only a slight PITA...you'll have to get longer bolts than the stock ones, and running the wires through the fender door, and into the fender to splice into the turn signal/parking lights can be a bit tedi...
