Poor thing. :( 1.5l... "bulbous eyes"?

I'm honestly a bit pissed at this.

I'll give them one thing though, they(like myself) thought of the diamond plate floormats. It's still on my to-do list, but maybe a little less ostentatious color.

There's alot of things I don't like about that car, but I'm still impressed by quite a bit of it. I can't imagine the money sank into that. Intrigued to see the back of it and the 1.5 - 2.2 work!

It's not too bad...aside from the fact that it's no longer a MX3, but hell, at least they did bore and turbo the 1.5.....too bad they didn't post any numbers though...probably because they're not too impressive.

Hmmm... that car is beyond hideous.
Sorry. Yes, that guy has obviously sunk a lot of money on it, but, as far as I'm concerned, that only goes to show (once again) that money can't buy taste. I'm all for modifying a car, and I've actually been planning to modify mine extensively, once I get it, but that's just an abomination.

Other than that, the article is wrong. 1.5 L B6??? WTH is that? The Mazda 1.5L was the B5, not the B6. And, just to boot, there's no such thing as a B5 or B6 "P".
And finally, I seriously doubt you can overbore a B5 up to 2.2L. I'm gonna have to call bu11sh!t on that.

lol indeed... that would really be boring it beyond the water jackets surely. Haven't seen a 1.5 with the head off mind you.

Just for giggles, I decided to do the math, and see what it'd take to get the B5 to 2.2 L.

Being that there's no stroker crankshafts for it (the B6 has the same stroke, and the B8/BP is a completely different engine), to get the B5 to 2.2L you'd have get the original 78 mm bore to...94.5 mm!!! Almost 3/4" overbore!!!

Now I DEFINITELY call BS on that!

The article itself is poorly worded and full of spelling errors... As far as the car the interior
is no longer an mx-3. The 1.5 L bored and stroked to a 2.2 L sounds fishy too. Max overbore
is ~2.5mm, stroking it with a max overbore id say 1.8-1.9 L is more realistic. The 1.8 L BP
with a stroker kit and overbore is hard pressed to hit 2.1 L displacement.

+1 The work done is pretty impressive. And I've seen some MX-3s on here that are more riced out than this one.

I'm gonna say it...hate me if you like.

The Supra headlights look awesome. The don't have the aweful angular sharpness of the Civic projectors. I'm not going to go cutting up my hood, but I like it.

This article says tein suspension.Does tein make coilover for us?I didn't know that.Last time i checked i didn't see anything..
Maybe it is from mx5 cause all the suspension systems has been changed.Look where the coilover bolts in the pic.Nothing to do with mx3..
