Re: JDM Front indicators + REAR Light -> How do they look li
I'm changing my rear lights from Euro Spec to the proper JDM one - and I have few quesions - I prepared a small picture with numbers of the bulbs: http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/9128/lampy.jpg So far I figured that when I turn on lights then bulbs number 1,2,3,4 should start glowing - current 5W...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator + Sport Cams problem
Thanks for ideas :) I'll consider them. As for now I'm kind of "IN love with B6BF" :D And I want to achieve full power of it. :) But I have a small problem with AFPR -> I've set it at 3.9 at idle (manual says that at OEM Setup it's 3.5) but at full throttle I goes up to 4.1 - 4.2, my frien...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator + Sport Cams problem
well... the point is that I was on my way back from my friends garage and as I'm not a car mechanic I did not know that this sound was knocking (please dont comment on my stupidity), and as I had new camshafts installed I floored it a little bit, than I realized that something may be wrong with ingi...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
Just a small question I've installed sport cams (duration 260), had a small problem with knocking, unluckily did a couple of kilometers with badly set ignition timing. Right now every thing is set properly but somehow my engine started consuming oil with this new cams... Is it possible that the knoc...

Re: JDM Front indicators -> How do they look like?
Yes but because they were the only ones available I got the USDM indicators -> SO I'll have to cut out the holes for marker lights... At first I'll do the 100% JDM Style and if I dont like it I'll do a mixture od JDM/USDM -> I'll plug both bulbs as marker lights and both of them will blink ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

JDM Front indicators + REAR Light -> How do they look like?
I'm Trying to give my mx-3 a bit of JDM look so I ordered AMBER front indicators -> The problem that I have is that I dunno how to plug them to keep the ori. JDM style. In USDM style the lamp is orange (or amber) and small "part" od the front lamp is blinded and the big one works as both i...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
Not Boosted Power Increase Was and will be slow and expensive and still there's not much you can do with b6bf engine -> Lightened Flywheel (done), CAI (done), 4-2-1 manifold (in progress), Sport Cams (soon), Exhaust (done), after that only piggy Back to make sure that everything works fine and well ...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
I'm not a pro. but as far as I know Ori. FPR can handle up to 10% of BHP and nM increase -> which I already achieved. Anything more than 10% needs additional fuel, sure best sollution would be Piggy Back + Broadband oxygen sensor, but temporarly I cannot afford it. Another reason for FPR is that ins...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
I have ordered sport cams, and to take full advantage of them I had to change the crystal in my ECU from 8 to 8.8mhz (as dyno results show in B6 or BP engines thanks to sport cams you get power increase up to 7500 or more depends on the crystal). THe problem is that By Now I'm out of money and I can...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
Thanks for help, I'm almost ready to install new FPR but I still have one question, manual says that: http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?file=/1995%20Workshop%20Manual/F1/F1-125.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; there are two fuel pressure values: 2,9 and 3,5 does any...

Re: Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator -> Help with installation
First things first, you are going to want to remove the old pressure regulator. I dunno if I understood you but I want to have adjustable Pressure Regulator installed -> makes no difference to me if the old one is still there or not, as long as I'm sure that the old one won't affect the fuel pressu...

Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator + Sport Cams problem
Well I have two small problems with Installing Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator, I would appreciate any help. 1) The ori. Fuel Pressure Regulator has two Vacuum lines connected to it, on the diagram below no 1 and 2: http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/5673/diaw.jpg The adj. Fuel Pres. Reg. has got only ...

Re: small question concerning intake
Thanks for help
So far I managed to get 116bhp out of 107bhp b6bf engine - so I'm looking for every single BHP there is - but I think there's nothing more you can get from intake
- next step is 4-2-1 header and then something more untill it produceses 130bhp ;]
