Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

This would be an awesome investment into a racecar. At our track were allowed to do headers and if you say it adds an extra 10 HP, then that would be excellent! Were rarely teched (in terms of taking the engines apart) so a miata cam would help out too HAH. Back to the header though, again this woul...

Doing an oil flush wouldn't hurt.) spray WD40 to displace the water change air filter check cap/rotor check transmission oil Enjoy the free engine bay cleaning done by mother nature. Im sure...

Re: Mx-3 for racing on 1/3 mile oval

***Update*** We've removed the twisted metal, sourced a rad + support wall replacement materials. It'll take some work, but we'll be ready for Saturday. However, it won't be pretty again :( Sorry to hear about the wreck. And its a race car, they only get faster after wrecking. Me and my buddy are i...

Re: Mx-3 for racing on 1/3 mile oval

fowljesse, the secrets i know for left handers (or atleast the guy i crew for) is set the wedge (cross weight) to around 31%. Normally NASCARs set theirs above 50% so FWD cars have a backwards cross weight. Simply put, the weight is best on the left front and right rear. Load those tires up with wei...

Re: Mx-3 for racing on 1/3 mile oval

I can't beleive no one's said this yet... http://www.filmjackets.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_worthless.gif Seems like a good setup. I'll have to make sure to rub the TTL's rear stear in my drivers face (im a crew chief of a guy that drives a civic for a mini stock). He's so proud of his Civics susp...

MX6 Rear suspension compatability

I have an MX3 RS and my buddy has a couple of MX6s for a junior racing and i was curious of the rear suspension on these cars were compatable and if it would be worth it to swap the 3's for the 6's?

Re: Mx-3 for racing on 1/3 mile oval

I have a 95 RS that I'm driving around right now. It's a great car but its going to be a circle track racer at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in Saskatoon, Sk Canada. So this thread is very well informative to what I want to do to get a bit of an edge on my car, as I will be going up against Neons, Ti...

Re: Official Transmission Swap Information

I have a 95 RS that I want to use for circle track racing, and was wondering if putting a trans from a V6 would be a good idea or even possible. Are they easily swappable or do they mount completely different?

Re: Saskatoon MX-3 Meet

Im going to keep this thing close to stock right now. My over all plans with it are to keep it up and running nicely so that I can drive it to work, then when I can afford to buy a new car for work, strip the MX and make it a mini stock :-D

Re: Saskatoon MX-3 Meet

Hey guys and gals.

I just picked up an MX-3 saturday and am quite excited to actually have a sporty car. Last sports car I had was an 85 firebird, everything from there has been jeep. So whenever you guys decide to get together, i'll most likely pull up :-D

OH, i got a 1995 white RS
