I noticed that in that picture the splines do not continue to the end and if it is the same thing on the other side then the option of grinding down to the outer diameter may still be on the table. I think you should measure the splines inside to get a better idea! This might turn out to be the quic...

Is there a machine shop in your area? They may be able to extend the splines for you. I think that would be the best solution to the argument that wytbishop brought forth.

The engine that I was particularly looking at was the 30 DAMB because it had significant hp and torq increase over the KLZE. Ford's standard DOHC V6 is known as the Duratec 30. I assumed (but I have been wrong before) that a increase in liter size would contribute to an increase in power displacement. Not to mention it seems cheaper to obtain a Duratec in comparison.

While helping my cousin with his oil change in his Ford Escape I noticed that his engine looks very similar to our K series engines. Could a swap be possible? Has anyone ever heard of anyone doing it?
