Re: Stock ze with megasquirt limits?
I ran 10 psi on a DE with millenia inj. In order to do so you will have to adjust the fuel pressure to 70 to 80 psi to keep the duty cycle out of the red. This is not the best way to force more fuel into the car, obviously bigger injectors would be. even at 8psi pf boost you will have to up the base...

also check to see if the timing belt has jumped a tooth or two. Its not the easiest thing to
check but your description of the problem points to it.

Re: Engine bucking while accelerating in 1st and 2nd gears
Sounds like the plastic accordian looking part of your intake is cracked. This usually happens in a hard to see place. As you accelerate the crack opens up and causes the car to buck. most noticeable in first and second but will also do it in the other gears as well. The open crack is letting in unm...

Re: tried tested and true clutch = -------?
What I'm saying is you can have the best of both worlds. Insta-engage when you want to invest in a new set of tires or something that will not snap your passengers necks. There are at least a half dozen owners with this setup, boosted. I'm sure it can handle anything a N/A ze can throw at it. Throw ...

Re: Changing the clutch
Its out the bottom, I don't know what someone was smoking but out the top would be the hard way of doing it. When taking the clutch lines out. Don't disconnect it, just unbolt everything and lay it aside. This will avoid the trouble of getting it bled just right after your done. Make sure you use a ...

Re: tried tested and true clutch = -------?
ACT 6 puck, everything else stock. This should be plenty of holding power even if
your plans include boost. Peddle feel will be stock with a little more grip when engaging.
That is my setup on an MX-6 DE on 10lbs of boost.

Re: millenia manifold on k8
You can purchase phenolic spacers that are already port matched.
cost just over $100. No need to pull the heads when you can just
slap the phenolics on there and be done.

Re: Car died. Troubleshooting help.
My vote is for the distributor. Next time it dies if you haven't fixed it yet keep the rpms below 3k and that should help get you home. There are fixes online instead of replacing the distributor. Its the igniter inside the disty that fails. timing chain/belts wouldn't come and go if something was w...

Re: Intercooler install pics?
I had an intercooler and A/C. You will have to modify the outer plastic bumper but you can have the stock bumper.
So yes it is possible with some modifying.
Sorry I don't have any pics and that cars at the wreckers now.

Re: Bigger Injectors for ZE...
Most of the information is in the answers given but after reading all of them it is still a little confusing because some of the answers are wrong. If you want larger injectors you will be looking for late 90's Mazda Millenia S model injectors. It has a 2.3l supercharged motor. Stock KL injectors (2...

Re: Runs like poop
TPS = Throttle position sensor. I doubt the fuel filter is the problem, plus its a pain in the behind to replace. Spark plug wires could be the cause of your acceleration problem. Make sure you don't have a split in the intake accordian tube. The TPS shouldn't cause a studder in your acceleration. i...

Re: Runs like poop
If the leak is after the 02's it will not affect the idle. There are only 2 o2's on the 92 model both are before the
cat.
I would start with a good old fashioned tune up. spark plugs, cap & rotor, check for vacuum leaks, check timing
and TPS voltage.

Re: I have tried everything and spent alot please help!
Its hard to help you if your not going to answer our questions for you. Did you replace/ inspect the disty cap and rotor? Did you replace/ inspect the spark plug wires? Did you check/ verify the TPS output voltage after you installed a new one? This could be a jumped tooth on the timing belt. Not ha...

I did not see spark plug wires on your list of replaced parts.
Wires would be in my top 5 reasons.
