mx3autozam: hehehe  It is not that easy to see gas light off.. In the left bottom is light for fog lights. And back to my temp, may I exchange thermostat for '170-degree' one? I don't think I can get it here, so maybe it is more possible to buy it from Canada or USA. Will it be better for the e...

Yes, I have OEM flex lines, they look OK and I think they are not causing the problem.. I forgot to mention there's no air in the brake/clutch circuit. I have one idea, but.. could it be stuck brake pad causing brake pedal pulsing?

V6 - Brakes

I've read Brakes FAQ, but haven't found answer I need. I have problem with NEW brakes. I bought 4 BREMBO rotors and Nipparts brake pads and put it on my car. I also checked calipers and cleaned and greased sliders, they move smooth and easy. I have also exchanged brake fluid (DOT4). My problem is pu...

I bought the car 10 days ago or so.. I was told the temp was normal in this position, but I am not sure. I think it should be in the middle. I will exchange the radiator and I will let you know all on this forum. Anyway, I like this car very much (except for the very light ticking noise coming from ...

Max, I checked everything last weekend, I spent two days in garage, exchanged two head cover gaskets and trying to find out why temp of my engine is higher.. so.. the last thing I can do is to exchange radiator and thermostat. :( I've put picture here just to show what my gauge shows and I can see t...

My gauge needle goes a little down (1 mm) when driving outside my town, I have a leak from radiator, but when I pressured the cooling system (1 bar), there was no leak.. It is strange.. I am going to buy a new radiator tomorrow and I will also exchange thermostat. I will see. And, of course, I will ...

There's no leak from water pump. I will try to exchange coolant (probably it was never changed in the past) and pressure the cooling circuit.. Hope it will help.

I haven't replaced anything yet. Is it possible to check the real temperature somehow? Is it possible to read the values via some connector or something? Thank you.

Max kl: What and where is temp sender? The engine runs good, fan operates after very long stay on one place when idling. I also have white smoke, just a little, maybe because catalyst is out (former owner did this, I am going to put it there).

It is 1993 MX-3, I have another Mazda from 1993 - 626, I had the same problem, I exchanged old thermostat, get new Antifreeze in and the temperature is the same. I can notice some coolant leaking of the radiator, is it possible due to lower pressure in cooling circuit (fault radiator) the temperatur...

K8 Temperature

Temperature gauge shows me temp of my engine somewhere in 3/4 of the scale. I am used to have temperature a little below 1/2 of the scale on my other Mazda's. Is it normal or is there something wrong with my cooling system?

I say something if I can.. I have 1.8 V6 in my MX-3 and I am happy with it, it is perfect engine. I have a KL-DE engine in garage (well, it is not KL-ZE), it has 21.000 km on it and I am not going to swap it against K8. Reason - I don't need more power than I have now with K8. And another reason - I...
