car broke down, towed to MAZDA

Just a little comedy for the group here...driving in Toronto (thankfully not on the highway, I was downtown) and put her into first gear and then swoosh, no more gears. I was just a couple kilometres from mazda, so they towed it there. Got the call 30 minutes ago...needs a new clutch and flywheel. $...

Re: timing belt tensioner

I'm there with you buddy. I took the car into the shop two weeks ago for a belt that was starting to squeel a little. They ordered a replacement "bracket". One week later, I hear a clunk and my "idler pully" falls off and the battery discharges. $300 later and we're back to norma...

Re: 94 GS, 91xxx miles

Not much to say 'bout the 94 aside from the stock rims are real nice. Interior dash is more finely crafted than in previous years (bias). Has same problems that any other year has engine wise and has normal wear and tear too...just search for typical mx3 maintenance issues.

Re: need help putting stock stereo back in

thanks for the start...and I'll get right on it as soon as I figure out why my clock and interior lights don't work...I think the spark I saw as some wires touched each other may have blown a fuse. I'll give it another go, then get professional help...

need help putting stock stereo back in

After having my after market cd player stolen, I need to put back my stock stereo...but I need a little help. I have referred to the links from this site regarding the specs, but I'm not sure if I am missing a wire. I am using the 8 pin connector, but it only had 4 wires sticking out of it... http:/...

Re: OUCH I get shocked all of the time!!

94GS - was getting shocked on a regular basis (every time I drove) until about a year ago someone asked what that touch button was for. Now I get out of the car, touch the button, THEN hold up the metal handle of the door and close it. Haven't been shocked since.

Re: just got a 94 gs...help?

And I'd just like to add 50-60 is not kinda cold...my 94 mx3 drives ok when it's 20 BELOW zero. And that's FAHRENHEIT.<p>And no noise except for my back left wheel that has no more brake pad left on it and the rotor is warped...but that should go away in the next month or two...

Re: Canadian Book Value

Just ask around what people would offer for it. I couldn't see it getting a higher offer than $6500 CDN.
