Good deal or no!

Looking to buy a MX-3 heres what it has and shizznit.<p>1995, V6, auto trans., ps, ABS, A/C, all power options, incl. p.moonroof & alloy wheels (stock for year) Black paint still looks new.<p>How much do you think a 95 is worth. Its being sold for 6990 from a dealership so add taxes bout 8000 or so. Good or Bad?

no go, dont buy it. In autotrader ive seen perfectly good mx-3's for 3000 dollars with v6 and a standard tranny. Plus your going to regret the auto tranny sooner or later.

First of all mazda auto trannys have a bad wrap. They usually go out at about 120k miles, my friends mx6 tranny just went out at 110k miles, and its about 4 grand to fix a tranny. Standard trannys are faster more fun less money to repair and dont go out nearly as fast.

Ok I found another one. Tell me if this sounds better. <p>1993, 1.6, 4cyl, 5 spd manual. Nice Interior looks brand new still and exterior still nice faded blaze red but still ok. For 4000 and i think i can talk the guy down to 3500.

i would say that is a good deal if you really want the 4cyl engine. i would look around for a GS (v6).
92 Mazda MX-3 GS: blaze red, bone stock, and daily driver
86 RX-7 GXL: '94 LT1 V8, 6 speed tranny, scary fast. SOLD
93 Mazda RX7 R1 LS1/6speed... 75% complete

Yea but i want to make my car all show and no go plus the extra money i save from gas will be a bonus for me! Plus I hear the bpt aint a bad engine. Which brings me to another question whats one of the best engines you can put in the 4banger car and how much hp can it push

I get 25 to 30 miles per gallon in my v6 :)
