Re: You know you're obsessed when....
Your pencil holder is a turbo housing, Cup holders are throttle bodies, and the random car parts laying on the end tables are your version of "sprucing the place up".

I wonder what have would have caused that to build up so bad. Maybe someone used a stop leak additive or something?

Yeah thats pretty rough. I say buy two thing of seafoam and flush it twice. Can you chip any of it off? I'd say get something soft to take some of that off and try and suck it away with a vacuum so it doesn't go back into your block. I wouldn't give up on it just yet. Maybe try some seafoam directly...

Re: slap a little J.B. Weld on it.
It's got a little rust on the left side as well but it's only surface rust as far as I can tell. I'm going to replace all 4 tho because I really don't trust them now lol. Good thing it did it last night because I was going to go autocrossing today.

hey give the guy some respect. I remember the guy, he was (or is) a member on here. He put alot of money and effort into that car. You gotta respect it because most people don't put that energy into their cars.

Re: RANT: why can't i find a 94 v6 mx3 in california?
Anyways back to the real topic....I took me close to 3 years to find my 94 gs. I was just like you, I had owned a 94 rs (even a gs that got creamed shortly after buying it) but I always liked the 94+ dash. I spent alot of time looking before I found this one. Actually got it from and old skool membe...

Re: My last minute checklist.. am I missing anything?
Well, that'd be up to you. If it was me, if I had the chance to get the money in the short (ish) run, and my actual engine was running properly, I'd hold on the swap until then, and use the time to inspect/blueprint the new engine. As nice as it can be, paint will never look as good, or be as durab...

Re: Racing seat too high
I have the same problem with my corbeau seats. It looks funny when I autocross because I open the sunroof and let the top of my helmet poke out. I've been driving like that for 2 or 3 years now.
