So I'm driving home last night from work and hear a big snap in the rear and a lot of click clack following. So I finally get home and start checking around and I find this... Just a flesh wound.lol





Hopefully theres no real damage and I'll be able to eplace the top perch and be done with it. Sorry for the bad pics, I think my camera is kicking the bucket.

Does the other side show same amt. of corrosion too?

It's got a little rust on the left side as well but it's only surface rust as far as I can tell. I'm going to replace all 4 tho because I really don't trust them now lol. Good thing it did it last night because I was going to go autocrossing today.

Looks like its just the mount that rusted... dayum but still :S

should be an easy fix if theres no rust on the body.

is that on the front or rear struts?

my rear strut mount was rusted away and did the same thing. I got a new one when I got new KYB struts.

Thats the rear, theres only two bolts holding up there, front has 4.

I may have 2 used rear ones I can send you - just let me know and I'll look through my stuff to see where they are... I would replace them if it were me!
