Also, I know somethings wrong when a GS gets beat by 5 lengths by a 4- banger sohc mx-3...... 3 times in a row Both cars stock, mind u.... and we can both drive and we both got good starts and didnt spin...

My vris on the pasenger side dosnt open at all, and the drivers side opens at 5000 rpm. I wired open the pasenger side one and it DID make it acelerate faster. I have no power untill 4700 rpm, then my car nose dives at 5500 rpm. I hate to be a hole as well, but I know what Im talking about in this c...

I know he asked about a year ago, but just for reference, I used a tie-strap and just tied the valve open on the drivers side dash-pot.
pretty ghetto I know, but it works for now, till I can get it fixed!!!

Oh really??? Thats interesting... I just want enough power to keep up with the twin cam 240's and integras around here... I dont want gobs of power, but Im tired of being left by mini vans!!! I get left though, because I have a loose HLA and bad O2 sensors, and bad egr valve, and both my VRIS silono...

I know for the most part what I need, I just dont want to spend money making it able to handle 500 hp, when all I want is around 230hp...
I know all the mechanical parts to it, but the electrical... not so much...

I have a 92 mx3 gs and my sunroof dosnt work. I think the gears are stripped (sp?) in the sunroof cause it will barely open, then just keep making a clicking noise and not move at all. My question is how hard is it to replace these gears, or is it something else altogether?

Ok, heres the deal. We wired the passenger side VRIS valve wide open and the car ran so much better!!!! It pulled through the entire rpm scale. Normally it dosnt pull at all ( no power) until around 5000rpm, then it started to pull like it was something. With it wired open, it pulled its a-- off! :D...

Hello every one. I have a 1992 mazda mx-3 gs 1.8 v6. When I floor it , it does very little. But when it hits 5000rpm, it throws your head back and acts like a whole different car!! Why is this. any help would be great. Oh, and the car is stock except for plug wires. (Basically stock)
