If Jeff is interested in hosting the pages I could scan the section from the 93 manual that deals with SOHC. The rest is pretty much the same in the 95 manual.

Re: MX-3 Shop Manual is back online

Much obliged! I guess there's no excuse for not making a donation now (except for cashflow :/ ). Finally I have a complete manual - with the jacking and safety stand positions that was missing. A little offtopic: where do you get the hilarious little dude that lifts the car - check out page GI-002..

Re: Torque Specs on suspension Bults?

I think the strut to body are 60Nm and the two lower ones are 90Nm. I changed to H&R's like 6 weeks ago...
I'll check the proper torques from the manual and post them when I get home from work.

Re: H&R springs, need camber kit?

The front camber can be adjusted by turning the strut mountplate. For the rear you need new bolts/alignment kit. I ordered eibach alignment bolts from performancenter.com (but that's in the US). Haven't put the bolts on yet, I'm getting new struts this winter and I'm not driving the car until next s...

Re: Problem after KL-DE swap (problem solved)

Congratulations on the swap. Nice that she's running fine now.

How much did the the swap cost you? After I get new struts I'm looking into either a bodykit or possibly a KL-DE. It's all about the cost...

MikeUK: Is that the JSpec?
I have the same front/rear and sideskirts on mine (imported from Germany). Are there any differences to the Japanese and European versions or are they in fact the same?

Re: Thumbs up for Falken Ziex

I have the 502's at 205/40 17. Very good grip and they handle in rainy conditions as well.
Only downside is they don't like cold. Below 5-10 celsius and the rubber won't heat up properly making for a slippy tire.

Re: service manual

I bought my 93 service manual + wiring + electrical troubleshooting from books4cars.com. Think it came in at around $140 + shipping. Very good service so I can recommend them to anyone looking for manuals. And like perhapsadingo8yerbaby said, do get the Mazda factory manuals. Best service manual I'v...

Re: 93 service manual page GI 8-9

Anyone please? What I most lack is the page with recommended lift points. Can't find anything in the forums about that when searching. FYI: I'm not associated with Mazda in any way - well, more than owning an mx-3 - nor with the company that brought down the online shop manual. I'd just like to get ...

What wire? At a speaker or at the headunit?

If it's at a speaker and it's still connected you can check the speaker terminals, they're marked with a + and -.

Re: Dented rim

Could be as simple as unbalanced wheels. If you havent got properly balanced wheels it'll be a very bumpy ride after 80-90kph (50mph). When I fixed up the dents and scratches on my rims I had them rebalanced - big difference in feel and handling after that. Doesn't cost much here in Sweden to get it...
