Re: Using a k8 iac on a eunos800 throtlebody

It does fit, without any problems, but it just doesn't work. At 2k rpm the car bogs, caused by the aic.

Anyone?

Re: K8 winter project need input

A new timing belt is a good idea, but new gaskets aren't necessary unless they're leaking.

Using a k8 iac on a eunos800 throtlebody

Can someone tell me how to make a k8 iac work on a eunos800 klze. They look identical from the inside and outside, even a hole for the vacuum, but it just doesn't work. Can someone please help me.

Thx, Bastian

Re: K8 winter project need input

We installed a longneck klze in an obd2 mx-3 and it's emission legal!! Just use your original 1.8 ecu, wire up a kl02 vaf and use an fpr to raise the overall fuel pressure abit. Altough the engine is running abit different than my own klze it's just as fast.

Re: Benefits of strait neck ZE manifold

The kl62 won't work with an obd1 becourse it has very different connectors. However in an obd2 it will fit without any trouble, but you do need to fix the atm-mtx problem and swap and wire in a maf to replace your vaf. I have a kl62 ecu lying around here and it has the same connectors as the obd2 mx...

Sorry, I don't master the Norwegian language yet, but you can teach me. But I do sell klze engines, but let us put it further, a kompressor klze!!

Re: engine codes

The kl31 cams might be better, but het eunos800 intake manifold absolutly flows better, no question about that. I driven numerous klze powered klze, but there really isn't any difference between the longneck version and the curved neck version.

Re: engine codes

A fpr will raise the fueldelivery overall, but since the klze engines uses a slightly higher fuel pressure we just raised it. A klze ecu will be better, but since this guy is getting the sames times as me it should have enough power.

Re: engine codes

this topic is getting deeper and deeper, I've also got some info for people who plan on doing an obd2 klze swap, we did one obd2 swap (just wanted that one on the list) I did took some time but that thing is fast, faster than the normal stock klze. It only needs afew extra's like a fpr well tuned an...

Re: engine codes

The klze with the straight neck has a few more hp because of the cams, the intake manifold flows abit less than the curved one. As for filling the engine mounts with urethane, obviously that would be better, but since pieces of rubber work excellent why do the extra effort and end up with almost the...

Re: engine codes

Oke, let me explain. First the curved intake does seem to flow better, but since the eunos engines don't have the kl31 cams (atleast I haven't seen one) so the engines with the ms8 intake which will most likely have the kl31 cams will have abit more power, 4/5hp. To get the longneck intake manifold ...

Re: engine codes

It's not that hard to use the longneck intake manifold. I might write a faq with pictures for it, since we've done it 3 times before without any major problems, you just have to modify some stuff.

I don't want to get off topic, but to how much psi can the stock injectors handle, with a fmu, fpr and a walbro?
