Re: Really loose shifter...
Barry,
have you replaced yours? They say that the switch takes 15 min or so with basic hand tools. Don't you have to drop the exhaust to get to the shifter side of the linkage?

Really loose shifter...
Hey guys,
I've posted about this before, but didn't get the answer I needed. I replaced the clutch in my MX-3, but forgot to unhook the shift linkage from the tranny. When I seperated the tranny and engine, the engine dropped about 3 inches onto the support, and apparently dmagaed one of the li...

See American Racing rims on your MX-3!
OK Guys,
I recently installed a new applet on my webpage that will allow you to see American Racing, Epic, Motegi, and Ro_Ja wheels on your MX-3. You can choose the color of your ride from 9 preset colors, or mix your own custom color. The applet will allow you to change the ride height of your ...

Re: Homemade solid/poly motor mount
??? What's the real risk factor here? I don't want to be buying a tranny any time soon... I don't rag on my car very hard at all... I do like to catch a second gear squeal every now and then, but nothnig serious. The polyurethane I used is very stiff... it may as well be a solid mount. Thx!

Re: Dead in the water
GSFRED,
this is a common problem with the MX-3... well documented on this site. Go to NAPA auto parts and ask for a Ford Probe V6 distributor... same year. Cost is $154+tax and core. It's very, very easy to do a distributor... I did mine on my lunch hour and drove the car back to work. If you n...

Hey guys,
if you have been following my posts, you know I've been b----ing about my front motor mount being busted. I've tried to think of any way to fix the problem without buying the mount from the dealer... too expensive! I was digging around in the garage today and found some extra casters....

Motor mounts and poly inserts...?'s
Hulloooo.....
I've busted the front (next to the rad.)motor mount on my GS V6. I've seen the poly inserts you can put on your motor mounts. My questino is this... if your motor mount is missing a lot of the rubber around the metal sleeve through the middle of the mount, will the poly inserts do ...

Hey guyz,
I need the front motor mount for my GS in a BIG WAY. talk about a huge bummer... try driving a standard with a broken motor mount. I can't afford the $85 price tag for a new one. Hopefully someone has one from a ZE swap or something. Also some punk-ass kid decided he liked my stereo, ...

Re: Wheels for sale - Read for details
Not sure which one you are referring to, bro... they have names for their wheels. The ones that I see that are 5 star are Fubuki, Shogun, Suzuka, Zeus, V1, RPO2, RPO1, RS5, ERO1, etc. Some nice 5-point style wheels I can offer are the American Racing - Avenger, Aero, Estrella, Sniper. Center Line - ...

Hey guyz 'n galz!
I have been a fairly frequent visitor of MX-3.com since acquiring my '93 GS about a year and a half ago. Since that time, I've started my own business (Wholesale Performance Equipment) that provides performance equipment to the GM F-Body (Camaro, Firebird, TransAm) and Streetro...
