Re: Does this sound normal?
You are most likely going to throw a rod. When you change your oil, it would be a good idea to drop the pan and if you see shavings, you know what is happening. You san try a flexible magnet if you do not want to drop the pan through the drain hole. The shavings are usually to heavy to come out with...

Re: Please I need your help ! (Watch the vid please).
If you do the sea foam or kerosene thing, you should remove the oil pan when you drain it if your engine mileage is high. You will have a lot of crud in your pan, in fact, more than the drIn plug opening will allow out and enough to plug the oil pump intake and your noise will get real loud. Deterge...

Re: New tensioner and belt k8 smoking
The upper rad hose is will leak from under the clamp on the engine side over time and on to the belts and will stink. It will give off a white smoke as well as it drips onto the belts and is spread around the engine front. You did not mention if the smoke was coming out of the exhaust but this was a...

Re: GS overheats but only at idle
If it does not turn out to the the fan itelf or the relay, the large connector for the main harness connector for the rad wiring harness is very susceptalbe to corrosion. This is right in front of or under the air filter housing. A good indication will be when you try and split it is if it does not ...

Re: Distributor issue
Kind of a dumb thing on my part and I was just to anxious but when I changed out my distributor, I attempted to run it with out all the lines and caps on the air intake and experienced exactly what you are saying. Even a small vacuum leak made a big difference as it just would not continue to idle..

Re: STICKY THROTTLE
Throttle body was not carried over. The reason I am thinking it is not mechanical is because it does not happen all the time, just hot days.

STICKY THROTTLE
On hotter days like today, my throttle is sticking open and idling high. The strange thing is that I can reduce my rpm by placing my foor under my gas pedal, I can reduce the RPM. I have recently changed the engine and this problem carried over, so all engine sensors are different. This problem is u...
