there should be a bracket holding the intermediate shaft .
i think it has three bolts . take those bolts off to disconnect the bracket of the block and pry the shaft of the tranny.

i put the one of my gs on my fc because the fc what shutting off
so far its been ok but i was trying to make sure that it would work on the rx-7 because is a lot easier to get the mass air flow for the mx-3

mx-3 and rx-7

would a mx-3 gs mass airflow sensor work
in fc rx-7 1990
the mx-3 sensor has a bigger diameter than the one on the rx-7
but the connector are exactly the same
would it make any difference or not

check your distributor i had a similar problem before and it end up being the coil that was getting hot I end up replacing the hole distributor because it was almost the same price
my also run rough when I was giving to much gas
but after I re[lsced the disty it fix the problem

thanks guys if forgot to tell you that the car car also has a new clutch and alternator that was put on buy the old owner a month before i bought the car when he was selling me the car he was only trying to get the money for those parts it was either sell it to myself or sell it to a yunkyard luckil...

they aint arching no more
they were arcing a all over the place
the problem was with the distributor i put a new one and the problem was solve
it runs great know
all the parts inside the distributor were rusted an the cover underneath the rotor was crack

they are arching in between the wires and thru the valve cover and manifold
they bwd wires from oreilly and they are 7mm

was getting a code #06 the plugs were a little black and have some white color at the tip it just started doing that a couple of wek after i did the tune up I found out hat the wires were arching so replace them but I still have the same problem fix the arching after the fifth set they were sparkin ...
