mx-3 and rx-7

would a mx-3 gs mass airflow sensor work
in fc rx-7 1990
the mx-3 sensor has a bigger diameter than the one on the rx-7
but the connector are exactly the same
would it make any difference or not

All I know is the FI RX-7's can, not sure why, but can use some of the I4 trap door style VAF's.

GS ones are the cone style, and I've never heard of an RX7 one being similar, so...

No, I don't know, and I don't think anyone does. Check the wiring diagrams, and check the diagnostics of each one to see if it has similar readings.

I doubt it, though.

i put the one of my gs on my fc because the fc what shutting off
so far its been ok but i was trying to make sure that it would work on the rx-7 because is a lot easier to get the mass air flow for the mx-3
