I looked in the engine section of the manual, but only made it to the page before it.

Kind of tough to tell when the engine is transversely mounted in the engine bay to tell which side is left and which is right.

I basically need to know which oxygen sensor to replace (code 15)....the one at the front of the car, or the one closest to the firewall.

Well, I am now on my 3rd coil and 2nd warranty distributor. NOT happy. Distributor King service is great and so is their warranty, so I still recommend them This is the third (and final) time the car has crapped out on me, all 3 times very suddenly and all 3 times due to coil issues. I have no idea ...

I got pissed off at the thing and just cut it out. The main body of it was paper thin and the lines going to/from it were the same way. Out it came. So did the silly 2 way shuttle valve. I T'd together the 2 lines from the tank to the engine...so that the engine would still suck fumes from the tank ...

Getting pretty much accustomed to the high revs. I actually kind of like going through all the gears when accellerating hard....but I still think it needs a 6th gear :) Seems no matter how hard I am on the car, or if I take it easy, it gives me a consistant 10L/100km. Have to see how the mileage hol...

Ugh, seems the coil in this "new" distributor crapped out on me yesterday.

So, I out my old one back in (with a bad CPS) and boxed up the new one for a warranty return.

Will keep you guys updated on how the whole warranty process goes and how long the next one will last.

Just had a *similar* problem happen to me yesterday. The car would bog down, or misfire when under any kind of a load....worse at low RPM, almost fine at high RPM (less load). I could visually see a cloud of black smoke coming out of the back end = unburnt fuel. I had to rev the engine up really hig...

The crappy little evaporative emissions "separator" in the left rear wheel well (next to the filler neck) has rusted through and now consistantly leaks fuel and fumes. I figures my options are: a.) replace it. The problem is, I spent about 30 minutes at the dealership today while the dude ...

I live within the Canadian maritime provinces, of course they're going to be rusted...and that's why the oil pan need replacing....it's paper thin due to rust.

I'll try one method (the wiggle) then fight the rusty bolts/nuts if that doesn't work.

Just ran through the entire "code 3 troubleshooting" from the service manual.
Pretty vague if you ask me. Didn't get any further ahead in my diagnosis.

Ugh, guess I'll have to live with it. I have no plans on swapping the 5th gear set on this car....it's just a daily/beater.

Strange that the revs in 5th gear are identical in my JDM CRX....well, until I change the CRXs 5th gear and final drive
