Car is in "pause" mode, we sold the KL engine and are planning to fit a Mazdaspeed monster instead. However it will not be this year due to lack of time ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: MZR engine swap?
Post re-birth :D I am seriously looking into this option as an upgrade to our ice racing car, those anybody have new or more info about a DISI swap into our car or similar? And, yes I know, it is going to be expensive and almost everything will have to be custom made and ... :freak: :welder: :freak:...

Re: POLL: U/D pulleys, Problems?
We installed one on our ice racing car and took it to the track for one full day of race, nothing negative to report on that short period of test. Was also not to hard to fit. Mine was bought used and came with both strap. Only down side so far is that your reference mark for timming is further then...

Re: Spring rate for OEM mx3 springs
STD is NOT selling suspension for MX-3, we adapted the Protoge 5 (or Mazda 3 do not recall sorry) model changing rear knuckle and getting shims in front due to new wider wheel base. For riding in bumps, will be attending our first ice race tomorrow so I will find out then so far the set-up we had wa...

Re: Fuel problem: starving out and surges when accelerating
We had same kind of issue that came from tired fuel pump, also the tank was bent from under so the pick-up tube was squeeze and could hardly supply fuel. Make sure it is not the case for you, simply have a visuel inspection from under the car. I also came across a situation were our customer (I'm wo...

Re: Spring rate for OEM mx3 springs
The way i see it is that oem is the best(include KYB GR2) unless you want either style or performance. You can get style with a lowering kit to wathever height you want but MOST of the time you'll loose all other aspect of suspension or you go coil-over with mod and nothing bolt-on then you do whate...

Re: Spring rate for OEM mx3 springs
There is a section in the shop manuel about suspension where you can find some numbers. However the oe coil are not linear therefore rate is variable (first portion soft then harder). from my recent test with coilover, i would say about 170 frt and 150 rear but that is only my opinion (nothing offic...

The official color is "Solar Orange" from Audi TT 2009. KTM orange is a little darker. I am really happy with the result we got ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
