you can repair the antenna wire easy enough just strip off the outer casing peel back about 2-3 inches on each side then push back the outer wiring. The white core you will need to strip off about 1" per side so that the inner core is exposed, solder and shrink tube that part then slide the out...

Re: Radio/Dash lights (URGENT)
you are going to need to see if the power from the dimmer is making it to the instrument cluster then check the bulbs themselves, sometimes its just a matter of the bulbs being burnt out, fyi if they are burning out frequently thats an early warning sign of alternator or charging issues.

Re: won't start after changing distrbutor cap and rotor
Backfiring can be a direct result of the timing being out so I would deal with that first prior to attempting to diagnose the backfire, if it continues to backfire then you are getting excess fuel dumped into the exhaust system hot exhaust temps when mixed with fuel hits the air outside = backfire.

Re: K8 hesitation problem
buy a digital multimeter rather than just throw parts at it, proper troubleshooting will save you much more money than just throwing parts at the car in hopes that it fixes it. Any check engine lights by the way?

Re: starter fuse?---what size?
you blew the 80 amp fuse? There are no fuses for the starter because it can draw over 300 amps on startup just make sure that you run factory size or better for the starter wiring and you will be fine. If you still want some circuit protection put a battery disconnect on the wiring to the starter fr...
