Can you post a link? It would be different for them, since Mx6/Probe's use the straight-neck

I'm surprised that everyone overlooked that. A KLZE's head codes are stampleed KL31, KLDE's are just KL if i remember right. I would like someone to verify that, but before you get that motor wait until we confirm the codes, but I'm pretty sure than KL is a DE, not a ZE
Most all klze's come with kl31 101 / 1a1 heads, Though there has been some not many that came with kl1a1 kl101 heads also. I have one. kl47 IM, kl68 TB, Flat top pistons, No egr, 200+ compression.

Well, that may be the case. I don't think I've ever hear of that, but if it's something so seldom, why take the chance. Best thing would be to get a KL31 head'd KLZE, that way you know forsure, cause you can get KL head'd DE's from Japan...

golhap27, get pics of the IM and head codes, seems more likely a curved-neck ZE, but would be good to make sure.

I totaly agree, when I get my next ze I will make sure It has the proper head code. save alot of time and trouble. Kinda hard to get to see a motor in person from Nova Scotia without getting it shipped first.
