Braden, that is fine for Ashley and the others running the BP, but do you have anything for the B6?

Ric emailed me tonight, he just finished up on the MX6 I4 kit. He is working on the V6 one next, not sure about compatibility for the MX3 v6 but I imagine it will be pretty close if not a perfect match.
Here is a link to some of the pics for the current offering for the MX6:
RacingMazda MX6 turbo

i recently emailed ric a few times last week and he's told me he will end up not doing this kit for us sohc owners.. mostly because of not enough interest and too many people insulted his kit. he has informed me that he WILL do custom work though and i am getting my manifold from him... just a few more bucks to save and he hasn't gotten back to me on the pricing.

Well let's try to get him to make a kit for the k series engines. That way his sales wont be limited strictly to mx-3's and 323's. I would definitely buy a turbo kit as long as it was under 3 grand.

The problem is that there are only a few who want to buy a kit and are willing to pay what it is worth. I don't know why there are so many dumbasses on this board who ridicule the guy who is going 10.98 or better when I don't see them going faster than 14.xx. Pay the guy some respect, he has certainly paid his dues. And you wonder why people/companies don't want to make stuff for our cars. I don't blame him in the least and I highly doubt he will want to make one for the V6 after the way he was treated here.

Understandable, but you have to realize the internet is the internet man. Full of 16 year old kids that just shoot their mouth off. I've done it myself a few times, but eventually you realize there is no point to being a pain in someone's *** If a kit was made for the k series engines think of the marketing opportunities. Let's see here, for starters, a basic kit would work for mx-3's, Probe's, mx-6's, Millenias, and 626's. Even if he made the kit and marketed it to racing shops around the country(instead of using the internet) he would still have a good response. Oh well, custom turbo is, was, and probaly always will be the way to go for us.

exactly my words chris. exactly my words.

at LEAST he is willing to make us custom manifolds on special order by contacting him. now that says a LOT about his personality after the way he was treated.

mx3man you're right. custom is pretty much the only route we can take right now.

that's true, but there aren't enough people around the world who fix up mx-3s and marketing his kit around the country in different shops and magazine articles would cost too much money... most mx-3 tuners can be found on this bulletin board which would be a good start for some feedback from his kit.

That's the thing..a kit for the k series engines could be developed that fits many different cars, such as the ones i listed above. If not a whole kit, then at least a manifold. That is something I would like to see.
