The Dakota products are a good source. The computer is definitely a nice toy to have.

I may end up designing my own digital cluster, if I become motivated enough. Recently I began to look into technical requirements for the task at hand.

Match the wire polarity on all speakers. The phase is in relation to the wire polarity. If they are crossed the speakers will actually work in opposition (180° out of phase) and sometimes sound like crap. It may make a difference and sometimes it's not a big deal. Mostly depends on environment const...

It's actually VFR weather. Baro 30.33 at 50ft, 18.5 F, 49% humidity and unlimited visibility here in CT .....LOL

You can get digital instruments that are universal but these are not accurate readings as the signal is intermidant so it is almost better to stay with the original unless you just want a knight rider look to impress the ladies :lol: LOL... At my age it will take more than a really cool dash to imp...

ok number one, i replaced both axels in my car and changed to a new type of tranny fluid, now my car has much more power and its hard not to spinn the tires(i dont do it on purpose, most of the time) how can this be. It's always a good idea to check the phase on all speaker connections. Especially if splicing was done. If the head-unit puts out alot less than the speakers call for you will end up blowing the speakers up. Yes!! blowing them up from too LITTLE power. Interesting Pat. Why would the speakers blow up...

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: WHOA STOP QUICK...My crank pullly just went a week ago LOL, It starts with a slick sqeeking noise and ends up firing like a missle...luckily mine went forward and under front bumper and then accross 3 lanes then impacting the centre curb, flew about 10 feet in air over a hond...
