Awesome Taillights
Check out the link below! Can you imagine how cool these would look with clear taillights! I wonder if the cops would mess with you...who cares because they are just too cool. <BR> <A HREF="http://store.yahoo.com/machv/newledacbrak.html" TARGET=_blank>http://store.yahoo.com/machv/newledacb...

Re: Neon underbody kit
Street Glow neons are very bright and are good quality (from what my friends tell me...they have them, so they should know). They come in a lexan case, so they are very hard to break (but not impossible if you high-center on something or rip them off on a speedbump). The key is to put them as far un...

Re: Strobe light
Check this site out. One of my neighbors has the Warp Light controller and strobes on his truck and they are very bright, you can adjust the type of flash (along with the timing of the flash), and they seem to be excellent quality. <BR> <A HREF="http://www.liteglow.com/products/sls.htm" TA...

Re: How about such tail lights?
What is the company name that makes the clears? No offense, but I just want to make sure (C.Y.A.) that they are a legit/reputable company before sending any sort of money to them. I would hate to send $200 and my taillights and get nothing in return. That would really suck! I am sure you understand.

Re: San Antonio, Texas anyone?
I will be going to the Drag Wars with FrogChick. It is a really fun place to go. Lots to see. One of the most interesting vehicles that has turned out the past few years is a white Toyota 4-Runner. Stock wheels, tall tires, quite ordinary looking. The only suspicious looking items on the vehicle are...

Re: Starter or Battery? HELP, PLZ
To get your terminal tighter (if it is made of lead) do the following. First, unhook the battery for safety reasons. Next, if the connector for the negative is made of lead (most are) and it is a Top post design, then there should be a bolt that goes through a hole on the connector. If you look, the...

Ah ha....I found the article again. This talks about disabling the DRL, but it is worth reading anyways. Pretty good info. <BR> <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/8175/clear_inst.htm" TARGET=_blank>http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/8175/clear_inst.htm</A> <BR>

Re: Different Intakes Available
Nope, that would be silly. I removed everything from the air inlet all the way to the MAF (working from the end where the air comes in and working towards the engine). It might have cleared itself up if I let it run longer (so the computer had a chance to adjust to the new conditions).

Re: Bumper Lights
I have read an article that in Canada, there is a law that states that all cars (made after 199x) must have daytime running lamps. The MX-3 was included in this. There is a part that you can order from Mazda that will allow you to do this. I will check into it further and post another reply.

Re: MX3 Targa
Any modification that involves removing part of the roof will make the body twist more. I had a Supra Turbo targa top and when the top was removed, you could feel the body twisting because the roof was not there to help prevent the twisting. It is awesome to have a targa and I think an MX-3 targa wo...

Re: Different Intakes Available
I purchased a WeaponR filter for my wife's 94 MX-3 (4-cyl) and had some problems. I just removed everything from the MAF (Mass Air-Flow meter) forward (away from the engine) and then attached the filter/adapter to the intake tube. The car started fine and then idled pretty good for a few minutes. I ...

Re: Signal light
I had a similar problem with my Isuzu pickup. I changed the bulb and I noticed the the replacement was REALLY difficult to get back into the plug. When I would use my turn signals, all my interior lights would flash and they were flashing really fast. It would act crazy. I could just be driving and ...
