Re: PIC. REQUEST. OPINION REQUEST...

Is it this one? If so, it was an option on the 92-93 RS.

Re: Tool Boxes

I have a high-end ~10yr old Craftsman on wheels and seems pretty solid quality. Bought locally last year for $125 USD from Craigslist, in xlent cond. Seller was relocating long distance and taking his tools but shipping the toolbox was apparently not worth it. Might be worth checking used before dro...

If O2 sensor hasn't been replaced within 100K, a sensor gone bad can hose your mileage - leaving the engine ECU constantly "guessing" at fuel mix balance.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt have any idea how much it would cost but went to my local garage today. The guy said it would cost £25 for a new belt and £20 to fit it which i thought sounded resonable. He wreckons he will have it don in a few hours :) Ask the mech for the old belt. I keep a set of o...

Search Function Messed Up?

Anybody else had problems w/the UBB search function the past 2-3 days? Every time I run any search-for-all-terms I get "no topics found," Even if I enter one keyword like "Miata." Then if I uncheck search-for-all-terms and run another search on same keyword(s), all topics found a...

Disty going bad is a known MX-3 V6 prob and matches your described symptoms. I saw your Q. posted on another UBB forum here as well. You should delete that thread and not double post.

They should fit just as well as if you installed a swap of 90-93 B6 stock Miata cams (which do fit the DOHC MX-3). In other words, they'll fit but you'd have to do something like swap position of the Miata/MX-3 exhaust and intake camshafts in reverse position. I can't remember the details, tried a s...

There is a way to close it manually but the UBB search function seems to be nonfunctional at the moment so I couldn't dig up a past thread on the subject. Might try again later.

Re: 1,000th Post

Well guys after 6 years and 4 MX-3s (RS stock, GS stock, GS w/ KLDE, and GS w/ KLZE) I have finally hit 1,000 posts on this forum. Show me some love. Maybe now I can get a cool phrase under my name like I see some people got in here all of a sudden. lol, in your case, your name already IS a cool ph...

Thanks Vol and you are spot on. This particular downhill was on fresh pavement laid only a week earlier so was incredibly clean and early Sunday a.m. race a week ago meant dry conditions w/no traffic. I shudder to think of what dropping the bike at 55 mph would mean. On Sat. rode a century o...

Welcome to the board! Nice looking ride. You'll find lots of info on this site about BPT swap. Bit more of a challenge to do it to a B6 DOHC vs SOHC I believe.

..Fastest spd was clocked on a long straight country road 1/2+ mile downhill at 46mph. Eye-watering teeth-rattling fun. :) Downhill speed sensation feels extra fast compared to being in a car or on a motorcycle. Just finished a race on mtn. roads & new downhill top speed reached of 55.4 mph. Th...
