Re: Keep the Factory Color or what.
Is money no object or do ya know the cost difference to paint it a dif color instead of stock? Changing the color drastically means the engine bay paint won't match and same with door jambs, trunk hatch jamb etc. unless they get painted the new color too. Factory raspberry is a little too pink IMO. ...

Truly weird. Bidding starts at a grand for that paint job on a non-running MX-3. Guess "art" is in the eye of the beholder... ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

MX-3 was a former daily driver but now goes out mostly on wknds, when I can keep'r on the road  Commuting/freeway driving in Wash DC area absolutely sucks so... ...here's one of a few "daily drivers" for commuting 2-4 days each week. Gas mileage is unbelievable although it does consu...

Back atcha John. Not quite deep-freeze here (yet) in the states but still too cold to work outside on the MX-3. That 300ZX lookin razor sharp.

Re: car wont turn over...winter sucks....:(
Agree w/Vanished. Assuming the starter is cranking the motor over but it just won't run on it's own, couple things come to mind. Moisture in fuel lines can precipitate out at coldazz temps and freeze solid, blocking fuel delivery. Or, in general, on high mileage 130,000+ mile motors, disty can go ba...

Re: Ball joints....too big?
I think Mazda changed the part sometime in mid '93 to the larger size. The earlier smaller size should be Mazda P/N E016-34-550 so whatever the autopart's store lists should x-ref with that #. Even so, others have reported so many probs sourcing the correct one for their MX's that many say the only ...

Re: Front and rear tower strut bars
If you're going to the track every weekend and planning to generate huge centrifical forces in the twisties then sure, maybe pay the substantial extra $$ for beefy Corksport bars. Otherwise, the Toucan/Ractive (I.E. ebay) ones do an xlnt job imho. I have 4 cars, '90 MX-6, '96 626, '95 MX-3 and '95 Y...

Re: Over Heating
The conditions and sequence you describe of overheating within 30 seconds of idle points to a likely malfunction with the radiator cooling fan not coming on when it should. At roadspeed, all is good because your forward motion forces cool air thru the rad fins but at a stop, the fan turns on to pull...

Could be timing belt idler/tension pulley making that kinda sound. Does it sound like it's coming from the timing cover area?

'08 New Year's Resolution. I Mean It!
To somehow get past the time consuming regular maintenance and repairs of too many older model cars (maybe sell the '90 MX-6) and install at least half the tuner stuff warehoused around here for the MX-3 for too long. Oh, and to stay off ebay and craigslist until this resolution gains some serious t...

the person your grabbing the signal from probably has MAC filtering enabled., You can connect, but no browsing :) Sounds likely. You need to check what your card "sees" and find a neighbor's network that is more wide open so's to hijack a totally free ride. Or... need to get a router and ...
