Just an idea, does anyone know if it would be legal to just put a cycle puntcure repair patch on the split on the rubber gaitor? A lot cheaper than a huge garage bill :?

Thanks, sounds about right, I enquired at my local garage and they say about £80 to replace the gaitor. They've said they'll do the MOT first and let me know what needs doing, fingers crossed its just that. Thanks for your help, Sloggy

The problem is this....the cable had got caught up inside the motor and has become very tangled. I've currently got it hanging from my shed door hoping that it will straighten ok. By the way, the breakers at crawley have a 323, does anyone know if the mechanism from a 323 would be the same as an MX-...

Wanted (in UK ideally) rear brake calipers (disc not drum)

Hi, I'm trying to get my MX-3 on the road and am stuck because the handbrake has seized so I'm looking to buy a pair of rear brake calipers (good working order) disc brakes not drums
I'm in England, UK. Also I'm looking for a flasher unit and a red passenger door (left side)
Thanks

Hi, sorry to hear about your car, not nice. How much for the rear brake calipers (presuming they're discs not drums) and to be posted to UK?

rear brake calipers

How does one free the handbrake (e brake) caliper? They seem to be seized up on my poor car. They are disc brakes. The cable seems fine and the rear brakes work fine as foot brakes.

Hi Mike, The motor sounds fine, the window doesn't get caught at all as its not being held up by anything except the piece of wood.

Hi, I'm having problems with my handbrake, there's nothing there, car just rolls forward. I've adjusted the cable and the handbrake feels really tight, but there's still nothing there. Car is a 92 1.6 4 disc brake model. Any help gratefully received.
