These were $1350 !!! ;-)

I accept what the problem is now... greater rolling radius plus a heavier (17in compared to 15in) wheel, with a wider tyre (215 instead of 205).

Gah.

Thanks for the advise y'all!

Deano1: For a good solution, go to your nearest powerflow (http://www.powerflow.com) dealer and get them to build you a custom one. If you're after a different sound, just get a new back-box. ~£140 If you want performance and sound, get a de-cat exhaust straight-through system including backbox (and...

To answer the SE question: In the UK there's a '94 model that came with leather/suede interior, anthracite alloys, air con, and a chaste white paintwork. Only 150 made! :-) About performance... I went from 205 tyres to 215, and the rolling radius slightly increased. Also the wheels themselves are in...

Performance loss with bigger wheels?

Hi all, I recently added these to my '94 1.8 V6 SE: http://www.destr0yer.net/wheels.jpg However, I've noticed a considerable performance loss, especially between 70mph and 110mph - it takes AGES, i mean, literally crawls 1mph per second in 4th, whereas before it would jog through 4th gear. I've noti...

de-cat, I'd say with the HKS induction kit (standard headers btw?) you'd get between 3 and 8bhp.
I spent £1500+ on this car yesterday, now i'm contemplating another £500 on the exhaust. YOUR fault UKMX-3!!!

Hey Luke, Unfortunately I have had to scrap plans as I don't want to ride without valid insurance, and it's simply too much. So.. Yesterday I spent £1500+ on new 17" rims with tyres, Gmax 40mm lowering springs, and insuring it for a year! End result (without the springs fitted): http://www.dest...
