Blower problems

About a year ago I had to replace my blower because it had seized. I then had problems with my fan speeds and had to replace my blower resistor module. Everything seemed good until the blower started making noise again. I noticed some water on the passenger side floor and it seems to be dripping thr...

Re: hvac

I had a similar problem and had to replace my blower resistor module. This happened after I had to replace my blower. Only 4 worked but the a/c wouldn't work, then if I moved it to 1-3 the a/c would turn on but the fan wouldn't blow. I am noticing some water dripping down on the passenger side and I...

It makes sense, I did replace the fan motor only after it ceased so maybe it burned out the switch.

Thanks

Ariesdude , I don't think it's the switch because the air conditioning stops working on the max or "4" setting also, it seems to go on in the 1,2,3 settings (but at this setting the fan doesn't work). fan setting 1,2,3 = air conditioning works but fan DOESN'T work fan setting 4 = no air co...

Heater - A/C Blower not working right.

I replaced the heater blower in a 1992 MX3 4 cyl and the fan only works on "4" setting not on 1,2,3 settings, plus the A/C no longer works. It seems that the A/C will go on in the 1,2,3 setting but not 4. I have checked the fuses that correspond to the A/C and the circuit breaker for the h...

Re: Check engine light and stalling.

Ya I see it now thanks. But I can't seem to get the connector off to get a socket in there. And it seems that I also have a coolant leak somewhere. What a pain!

Thanks.

Re: Check engine light and stalling.

Ok, I got the Coolant temp sensor today (Canadian Tire $33). I see one CTS just underneath the distributer (drivers side of engine) but it looks like only one wire coming from it and no green connector. Where exactly is the other one? Also, someone suggested using a bit of Lock-tite to make sure it ...

Re: Check engine light and stalling.

Finally got a chance to do the engine code thing and I got 9 flashes. Looks like it's the coolant temp sensor, papa roached was right. I'll try to find one and put it in. I'll post the results.

Thanks again :D

Check engine light and stalling.

I am having a weird issue with my 1992 MX3 Precidia 4cyl. Within the first 5 minutes of starting the car the engine light will come on (either turns on and off randomly or stays on) then within a few seconds the car will start to die. I can sometimes save it before it dies by giving it some gas but ...
