protege or pro lx....
Ok, my tranny is gone, gonna go ahead and swap it out (why wait)... I keep reading that when changing to the BP or BPT, you need a protege lx tranny... is there a difference between a regular protege's tranny and an lx's tranny? I know nothing about protege's so i must ask....
thanks
thanks

Protege Tranny on a 1.6 sohc?
Hey I think my tranny just went out on me.... I wanna do a BPT swap, but dont have the money. It would make no sense to get a tranny for my 1.6 SOHC now, and then change it again when I change the engine.... would the protege tranny bolt up to my engine? I heard the BPT will bolt to my tranny so it ...

which is a better choice, BP or BPT
I know that obviously the BPT has more power than the BP stock. But what I want to know is, what are the differences between the two? Does the BPT have a lower CR? Will it be a good idea to get a BP and turbo it? or just use the BPT? I'm trying to decide whether i should get a BP now, and maybe put ...

removing water line from TB
I read on a post that removing the water line going through the TB will increase your power a bit. I wanted to know if this will have any negetive affects or anything will need to be adjusted, or if it was just a simple mod. Thanks

Re: cams ?
www.gude.com Their reprofiled cam is $295 with a $138 core charge if you dont have one to send in to them. And its made for your car. Not sure if the VTEC cam (HONDA) will fit your Mazda.

Re: another MAF thing
differences between MAF and VAFOriginally posted by papa roached:
that is a MAF, whats used on the later 4 cyls and the V6s is a VAF
I think if everyone would look through this link, there would be a LOT less confussion about this topic.

Re: another MAF thing
I just emailed some guy selling one on ebay to see if he could send me the specs on it. I personally thing I COULD work if you change the spring rate on the inside of the meter. Chances are you will have to do that either way with the non turbo version anyways ( i kno i hade to make the spring softe...
