BP-T ISSUE

I have a mx-3 1.6 Dohc and I purchased a JDM BG GT-X (70.000km) in order to transfer everything (apart from the differentials). I also purchased the transmission and the locked differential from a FWD BP 323f. Now I have two matters to solve: 1)The specific GT-X did not have an A/C. I know that some...

I can assure you that his b6 never had the warmup catalytic converter.

I think they were only fitted for California domestic market.

My car has been examined from two authorised dealers and one friend mechanic. They found nothing responsible for the low idle under electrical loads and hesitation. So one authorised dealer said that the problem is that some 1,6 Dohc heads had problem and it needs to go to the drilling machine. I do...

If you can find a 1.8L with good compression do the swap. Keep in mind that if you're buying a used engine, you might have to do head work on the new one too Yes I know. That's why I assume that my 1,6 may be fine after the head job with less money. By the way the two engines have a difference of 8...

1,6 DOHC or 1,8 DOHC?

My mechanic says that my 1,6 Dohc head needs to be opened and redone plus change some valves... He asked for more than 1000Euros which means more than 1200$. A friend changed this motor for the 1,8 (but without any job on the head) for the same money. I wonder what should I do. What do you guys think?

EGR TEST

How can I test my EGR Valve apart from taking it out for inspection? Should the stem move when I rev at idle because mine doesn't!

Thank you, if anyone knows!

I tried the "buzzer" continuity method. So the buzzer was beeping! If I disconnect the (new) O2 sensor I don't have idle problems. Driving with it disconnected will i harm my catalytic converter?

Thanks.

95 rs ecu

As i had mentioned in a previous topic I tested TEN and GND with a multimeter and found continuity. The online manual in page F1-039 indicates that this might mean problem! Now i disconnected the O2 sensor and tried to pull codes by the ECU was clean. It should indicate problem with O2 sensor. I gue...

1. Take (+) lead on multimeter and touch to (+) positive terminal on battery. Then touch the other lead to the engine's head. You should get battery voltage. If it's different then battery voltage u may have a problem. I really don't know why you got 50mv unless your mutlimeter is a really cheap on...

Experts I need your help

Hi, I have a problem with my idle but only after I engage electrical loads. So I did some measurements which I find strange but can't tell if are worthy: 1. I measured the voltage between battery (-) and the machine head. Well at idle with no loads i saw 50mV. Then I engaged big scale lights, heated...
