My 92 GS is in the shop right now getting the engine swaped. The bottom end in pretty much finished, but the heads were recently rebuilt(professionally), and the IM is still in awesome shape. it's got ractive exhaust/intake, winter tires on sepreate rims, around 212 thousand km on body, new passenger side cv shaft/wheel bearing/router, the color is called aqua purpleen or something like that. Ill add pictures as soon as i can. As for price ill have to get back to you

92 GS for sale (calgary)

I have a 92 GS for sale, it has cameleon paint, recently rebuilt heads, pioneer deck, 2 mtx 10" subs available, new clutch, but needs replaced/rebuilt shortblock. If anyone is interested in purchasing this car to fix it up, please email me at thisiscornfedpig@hotmail.com.

change your spark plugs, test your plug wires, and if that doesnt work then its probably a disty problem. I had the same thing, the plastic on the end of some of my plug wires was ****ed and the spark was sometimes grounding through that so i wasnt getting and spark some of the time

Timing belt--->timing chain?

i once saw a picture of a k series engine with the timing belt and i think the accessory belts switched with a chain kinda like in a GM 350. does anyone know of a kit to do this or was it just total bull****?

I am wondering what would put out more power, turbo'd KLZE or KLDE. I know you can run higher boost with the de because of the lower compression ratio, but the ze has more power to begin with, so asuming that the engines have forged pistons/rods, upgraded fuel system, etc. which one would ultimately...

Also, it only fits in one way, so theres no way to mess it up, just make sure u get the firing order right

that happened to me when i rebuilt my engine, my problem was some mixed up vacuum lines(egr lines in particular) chances are thats your problem as well

the vacuum diagrams arent too bad i dont think aside from the K8, its terrible. its got the most complicated vacuum system and the smallest picture. In general the chilton manual isnt great, but its still better than nothing if its the only thing you can get

I might be looking to sell mine soon, I'm moving to go to school and ill prob need the money, i live in cranbrook bc. my GS has around 1000km on a rebuilt k8, new clutch, pearlescent paint, winter tires on extra set of rims, stereo, and a few more extras, no a/c or sunroof though. Haven't decided on...
