Replacing the distributor

Post by little_miss_mx3 »

Hi Everyone.
Think it's called s*ds law - I advertise my MX3 for sale and it packs up on me ! ! I have been advised that I need a new distributor. Obviously it needs to be done but I don't want to spend a silly amount of money on it as I'm not keeping it.

I've seen that I can purchase one for around £250 -
Can anyone advise me or point me in the right direction on how to replace the distributor myself?

Many thanks for your help

there are two 12mm bolts holding it in....it pulls right out. It is easier than changing your own oil.

Also, it only fits in one way, so theres no way to mess it up, just make sure u get the firing order right
