Getting the book is a good idea. But in the mean time is there anythink we can do now about the hold light flashing.

I just got them replaced in my daughters 92 MX 3 last week for free. No questions asked. Also needed a control unit (under the drivers seat) that I got at the junk yard for $2.54 US$.

Does anyone know what the Key Interlock Cable is for and how it works.

I don't think that is going to help. I really think it has something to do with the throttle cable going to the transmission.

It blinks. If I turn off the car and restart it there is no hold light until I hit the gas. This is all while it is in park.

Every time I hit the gas the hold light comes on. It started after I changed the intake gaskets. When I took the intake off I disconnected the throttle cable going to the transmission and messed up the adjustment. Do I just need to take the car to the transmission shop to have it readjusted or can I ...

The vacuum hose that goes from the fuel Pressure reg to the PRC Valve solenoid, has what looks like a silver BB at the solenoid end. Is this right? Air will not pass in either direction.

I can start the car. The idle is a bit high. When I give it some gas it bogs down and will shut off. The codes that I got indicate a probelm with the air flow.

It was there for about 90 min's. I was able to pull some codes yesterday, 08 & 10, so I guess the computer is alright. The car was only running for about 5 min's before it ended up in the water.

I pulled the engine codes. I got 8 short flashes and one long flash than 8 more short flashes. I take it that the 1 long flash was a separator code. What is my next move? All help greatly appreciated.
