usually the welds just break on the top shield - have someone at a exhaust shop hit it with a mig and she'll be as good as new....

Re: 320hp mustang GT AND a little KLZE
This proves to me that I am not even going to do a swap without headers bolted to the ZE; it just makes everything else downhill you know what I mean? I want the thing to breathe as soon as it comes to life.... I am thinking headers, high flow cat, and 2.5 inch exhaust with a glasspack resonator and...

LOL
I have one word: CRANKWALK
Of course, if you have a 1st gen GSX then you have no idea of what I am talking about.
I have never heard of any honda coming apart, they just all smoke when vtec comes in (the ones I have seen at the track)

Re: cars killed
LOL I noticed alot of B14 sentra SE's being on the Kill list. I have one of those, and I am definitely wanting to see ANY stock GS come and smoke me
btw my car is stock except for shifter bushings and synthetic fluids... ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: very disappointed
You definitely need to take this thing to a dyno and see if the engine is sick..... Maybe you got a KLDE instead of a ZE but you still should be in the 15s even with a DE. Just to put it in perspective: I ran a 16.1 w/ bad wheelhop (2.4 sec 60ft time) in a 2800lb 2001 Sentra SE SR20DE w/ *maybe* 130...

Re: red line water wetter
it does cool your engine better regardless of the thermostat, and no it won't damage anything but your wallet.
The stuff works to help water absorb heat better, therefore the better cooling properties. Not much, but might help you run more timing etc.

Re: KL-01 VS KL-31 cams
What we really need is a programmable ECU tuner ala UTEC for the WRX so that we can run whatever program (curve neck KL31 cam etc) that we want, and that is affordable, which still utilizes the stock ECU, wiring, injectors and sensors.

Re: 320hp mustang GT AND a little KLZE
I raced a 2003 GT w/ my Sentra SR20 car and he ran a 13.9 with only a Bassani X-pipe and catback. Dunno about the 13.5, seems a bit fast for a 4.6L car w/o a supercharger. Remember these engines are pretty expensive to mod heavily since they are SOHC. Now a Cobra on other hand....12's easily with a ...

Re: sc mx-3 get together?
Myrtle Beach seems more logical since it's centrally located for Mid-Atlantic states and a common vacation area.......not to mention I have folks down there and can stay for free!
Besides, maybe by the end of the summer I can have my car running![Shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)
