Re: Where to buy bolt-in, underhood fuses??
Ok, I found the fuse cover - it's the 100A Main that I'm in need of & the original was blue..

Re: Where to buy bolt-in, underhood fuses??
My fuse is melted, dirty & whatnot, so a bit hard to make out, lol. The dealer told me the the only bolt-in he found for MX-3's is a black 60amp.. I guess this must be what I need/only one of its' type under the hood?

Re: Where to buy bolt-in, underhood fuses??
Well yeah, if I lived anywhere near any other MX-3's, much less dead ones in a junkyard, lol.

Where to buy bolt-in, underhood fuses??
Hi everybody, Been away for a loong time, (during which I've healthily beefed up my Mazda fleet - see sig :D). I recently revived the MX-3 and need to purchase a blue (40amp?) fuse that bolts-in under the hood. Does anybody know the one I'm talking about & how/where to get them? One of my favori...

Re: MX-3 Training Video!
Yep, thanks for putting it up man. Good stuff!
I wonder if anybodies got video footage of the white GS I saw in a SCCA race of some sort, on ESPN like 5 years ago? It didn't finish but it was doing great till it had some type of engine problem. (I think it was running a 2.5)

Well the real problem with this ATX line is cooling. If they'd fitted the cars using them with a good cooler setup from the line, I doubt they'd have a bad rep. I do think it odd that my '91 Miata, (also utilizing a JATCO ATX), doesn't have a detent cable/it's electronically controlled, while later ...

I personally am limited to an ATX due to physical limitation, so I have no choice there. Here's somthing to ponder on though - automatic trannies waste ALOT of power getting the engine's HP to the ground. It averages somewhere rediculous like 30-40%. Your car, your decision, but the most performance...

Haven't completely given up the ghost yet. I have sold my L10 converter off, (next month), but I still own a 2.5ATX with 10k miles on it. If I can ever sell that I'll likely give up though. (know anybody in the market? lol) If somebody could figure out if the transmission would physically fit in the...

Transmissions shops charge a crapload merely for labor.. If your paying more than $700 for parts.. your getting ripped off.. in my opinion This is true, but how many of us have actually looked inside an ATX? I commend your friend for being able to rebuild his Tauras tranny himself, but that's beyon...

JDM ENGINE DEPOT
I've been in contact quite a bit with JDM Engine Depot. I would be iffy about buying an ATX from them if you're in the market for a normal 1.8L ATX. After quite a few emails they don't seem to know their Mazda transmissions too well, and in the end tried to sell me a 2.0L V6, not the transmission I'...

No, just jack the engine up a little and be able to get to the mount to unbolt it etc. As for the tranny flush question, I wouldn't necessarily flush it persay, but I'd go ahead and swap over to Mobil-1 synthetic ATF. I can't gaurantee it, but it should only make it run better and last longer - that...
