If anyone wants a laugh, this is how petrol prices work in the UK: Assuming pump price is 93.9p/litre (a good average) 32.8p goes to the petrol companies, approximately 2.5p of which is "profit". 47.1p is the fixed tariff of duty on fuel. This gives a 79.9p subtotal The remaining 14.0p is...

here in holland is it 6.80 a gallon!! US gallon or Imperial gallon? The Imperial gallon is larger. To be pushing nearly $7 per US gallon it'd have to be 1.45 Euro per litre. Now that WOULD be steep. Incidentally, I paid roughly that (99p/litre) for some 97RON for a long journey (don't care about th...

UK prices for 95RON regular unleaded (equivalent to 91 Octane/PON in the US) is still sitting at more than $6 per US gallon.

I`ve had the Toyo`s and those were the worst crap I`ve ever had. They were totally worn out in two months of normal driving (after aliignment etc). I even had some Falken`s ZE-502 or something like that (cheap crappy tire), and even those where better when used. Took them back and got a 50% rebate ...

Re: dunno what to call this thread, but WOOO!!

ok quite a random thread, but... I had basically not driven my car for about 6 days (was away 5, then it went away for some work - service, 4x new tyres, trace air-con leak) got it back and had to be nice to it as the new tyres bedded in (nice soft Toyo T1-R's :D ) but I took the 'long' way home to...

You're not special by using 'big words'. Neither, are you special by trying to philosophize the situation. And... this means what? Oh yes! You have nothing salient to add to the thread, so you thought you'd bump it back to the top! Go you! I never said I was "special" by using big ...

If MazdaSpeed only joined Mazda in 1999 (after the MX3 was discontinued), I think it is safe to say that MazdaSpeed never sold an MX-3. MazdaSpeed would have been sued by Mazda for violating many many Intillectual Property rights that Mazda has over the MX3. Outsourcing. See Prodrive and Subaru. Al...

I posted a link to every car that existed..even in japan..mazdapeed mx-3 isn't there Yes, I read it. It's a fascinating place and a useful reference, thank you. It is, however, shockingly vague on special editions - scarcely "every car that existed". Let us, for example, take two of my br...

You should also note the limited number of respondants here. Why haven't many of the site's big hitters weighed in? Because they know its a damn waste of time and would say the exact same thing I am saying. Why repeat what others have said? Perry has already told that guy the right answer, I dont n...

If there's a MazdaSpeed Mx-3, than there would be the possibility of other MazdaSpeed's including MX-6, 626, 323, etc...there would a trend/pattern of around that era of other MazdaSpeed from cars that were not racing bred Now that's an incredibly good, constructive point. Of course manufacturers a...

What bugs me is that you keep posting back here with your useless findings like they are really a big deal after everyone here has told you the answer you are looking for. I believe I've posted "findings" twice, in 6 pages. I'd scarcely call that "keep". I have, on the other han...

You've got a Microsoft keyboard like mine. The shift key keeps sticking. Why get all worked up? If I want to waste my time, as it may well turn out (though I'd say a definitive answer from the horse's - dead or otherwise - mouth isn't a waste of time, whatever it may be), then I will. Tetchiness is...

I emailed Mazda a few days ago and here is what I got back..PS this is Mazda corporate...not mazda USA Again, thank you for investigating on my behalf. However, Heather Berger works for Mazda USA. This doesn't invalidate anything she said in any way - though note the wording (she is "not aware...

firstly i'm a fellow yorkshireman, however sorry to disappoint matey but your insurance wouldn't pay out if you didn't declare the mazdaspeed parts no matter what happens. your car is registered as the model it is... if it's modified from that you'll pay extra but hell i'm 24 with no claims and min...

I spoke with Charles Akley. He works for Mazda and is product knowledge specialist for the Mazdaspeed divison on the West Coast .. He assured me that there was NEVER EVER EVER a Mazdaspeed MX3. He has been working with mazda longer than I have been alive....and im 27. I asked him if maybe Mazda had...
