I can testify that its a pretty sweet little engine aswell, had a test drive in a Uk spec 323F ZXI with the 2.0l V6, Suprisingly quick. Wondered about doing a complete transplant form a 1998 323F ZXI.

The electronic Choke mechanisim works by sensing engine temp, which it does by taking readings of the engine coolant temp.

If the engine coolant is running slightly low wouldnt that cause it to run slightly of, possible rich ...

Well when i said sort the suspension what i meant was uprate it....Its fine for daily use as standard, but i found that it had a bit much body roll for my taste....especially on the twisty stuff out in the country, which is where i take mines for fun...

Hi mate welcome to the board...

I have 1997 model and had it dyno'd at 135.3bhp, so i'd say that all uk models have at least 135...

I know its been said but these cars arent really about power, back road fun is where they excel..

Get the suspension sorted and go mad.

Hopefully its all good now and i can get some quality mods done to my car.

It only happens if i sit in the car for a while with the stereo on etc, without the engine on. Then when i try the car it won't start.
I turn the ignition and all i get is an ...

Okay, you need that timing belt changed Pronto,

Your idle problem is probably a leak in the Rubber Piping that goes to the Intake, its not uncommon for them to perish, especially after 10yrs+.

Silicon Sealant works we for the tubing, see if you can find any cracks etc.

Also I hate to say it but ...
